Specs at a Glance

When you think of prominent luxury SUVs on the market, the Cadillac Escalade comes to mind. With its commanding appearance and exquisite interior, the Escalade has rightfully earned its place as one of the nation's most popular luxury SUVs. This year, the Escalade retains many of its fan-favorite features, including an impressive amount of interior space and a generously-sized cargo area. The Escalade also has substantial power from its V8 engine and impressive towing capacity. You have several choices of trim for the 2020 Escalade, including the ESV and the Platinum. The ESV is an extended-length version of the Escalade that offers about 20 additional inches of interior space. Two trims to consider for the 2020 Escalade are the base level of the ESV if you need more space and the Platinum, which offers more conveniences and amenities.

Performance

Performance has historically been a highlight of the 2020 Escalade, and this year is no exception. All trims get a powerful V8 engine with substantial horsepower and a towing capacity that exceeds 8,000 pounds. The 2020 Cadillac Escalade has the same engine across all trims, which is a V8 that has a 6.2L capacity. This engine produces up to 420 HP and 460 LB-FT of torque. All vehicles have the same transmission as well, which is a 10-speed automatic. You'll get rear-wheel drive as the standard drivetrain on all trims of the Escalade, while four-wheel drive is available for those who want more off-road prowess.

Appearance

With its carefully crafted exterior, the Cadillac Escalade has one of the most distinctive and head-turning exteriors of all vehicles on the road. The Cadillac Escalade gets several notable features even at the base level. The base trim of the ESV features LED headlights in the front and a hands-free liftgate that adds style and function. You'll also get prominent 20-inch wheels with this trim level, and elegant chrome accents that give the exterior a polished and poised appearance. The Platinum trim gets more features, including retractable side steps, illuminated door handles, and roof rails. Front cornering headlights make for safer driving and accentuate the front end.

Features

A lengthy and impressive list of features is standard on this year's Cadillac Escalade. This includes an eight-inch infotainment display screen at the base level, which is complete with navigation. Wireless charging is also standard in this trim. You'll get a variety of additional conveniences with the base trim of the ESV, including a premium Bose sound system and heated seats. Along with the eight-inch infotainment system in front, the top trim level adds a separate nine-inch entertainment system in the rear. It also gets plush leather seats, three zones of climate control, and power-adjustable front seats. A panoramic backup camera is standard, and you'll also get parking sensors in front and back.

In 2020, the Cadillac ESV base trim offers more interior space than before. Meanwhile, the Platinum is fully-loaded with all the amenities you could want. Contact our dealership today to arrange a test drive for both.
