What parts do you need?

At our certified dealership, during service, your broken part will be replaced by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part. OEM parts are backed by a warranty, and they are designed specifically to fit the part that broke. This means that regardless of whether you need a small part replaced, like a mirror or light, or something more major like the engine, transmission, or something in the suspension system, you can simply bring it in and we will put in a new part that looks and functions exactly like the old part. When your Cadillac is in need of repairs, just let us know what part you're searching for, and we will replace the part immediately or have it ordered and schedule your car for repairs when the part arrives.

Benefits of OEM Parts vs Aftermarket Parts

Quality

When a part on your car breaks, you can either have it replaced with an OEM part or an aftermarket part. OEM parts are made by the same manufacturer that produces your car. You walk away knowing that you're getting a replacement part that is built to last. In contrast, aftermarket parts have no such guarantee. They are built by a third party manufacturer, and their quality is very inconsistent. You may end up with an aftermarket part that works as well as and OEM part, but you can also end up with a part that breaks quickly after installation. In that case, you are unfortunately left in the position of paying for a replacement part plus the cost of labor.

Warranty and Support

Since OEM parts are built to a higher standard of quality, they generally leave the production line backed with a type of manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period varies depending on the part, but an average warranty time is one year. We are committed to making sure that their customers are satisfied with their service, which means we will work on your car until you get a working and reliable part. Since aftermarket parts tend to cost less than OEM parts, they do not come with a warranty. You are left with simply hoping that the part will last. If it does, great - but if it doesn't, you risk paying more money for a replacement and the cost of additional labor that a second repair requires.

Proper Fit and Ease of Replacement

Since OEM parts are made by the same brand that makes your car, they are built to precisely fit a certain model. OEM parts are therefore the only kind of part that ensures your car will leave the shop performing and handling the same way as it did originally. Since OEM parts fit precisely, they give you peace of mind that your car will not encounter additional problems down the road due to a poor fit. In contrast, aftermarket parts may fit poorly.

Make sure that you're getting a part that will give you peace of mind. Join us today for a service appointment or stop by and ask any questions you might have.
