Specs at a Glance
The 2020 Cadillac Escalade is about to set a new benchmark in the automobile industry and for good reasons. This incredible SUV is still a fan-favorite among SUV enthusiasts. Consumers can choose from four available trims, including the Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. The new Escalade offers technological advancements, exceptional comfort, and powerful powertrain. Let's compare and contrast the Luxury, and Premium Luxury trims below.
Performance
Cadillac has decided to put all of its marbles into one powertrain, and this decision has paid off. The new Escalade 4WD Luxury and Escalade 4WD Premium Luxury will come equipped with a powerful 420-horsepower engine. This direct-injected V8 will also produce as much as 460 pound-feet of torque. Overtaking and towing shouldn't be a problem here. To better smooth out the bumps, each trim level will offer Selectable Magnetic Ride Control Suspension, which will automatically adjust to the road conditions. There's also StabiliTrak to help keep the vehicle on its intended path. Since both trims are four-wheel drive, you'll have immense amounts of traction for all four wheels.
Appearance
To start things off, the 2020 Escalade 4WD Luxury and 2020 Escalade 4WD Premium Luxury will come in a myriad of exterior paints. This includes blue metallic, red passion, satin steel, crystal white, dark mocha, and more. The visual aesthetics are pretty much the same across the board, but there are a few differences in added features.
The Escalade 4WD Luxury is accented with chrome-bodyside molding, Auto On/Off headlamps, and a streamlined roof rails system. The Escalade 4WD Premium Luxury comes equipped with all of those features. In addition to that, this trim will offer concierge lightings, such as illuminating door handles and front cornering lamps. Both trims will sport a huge front grille and straight body lines.
Features
The new Escalade Luxury and Premium Luxury trims will come equipped with four-wheel drive systems. Bose Surround Sound audio is available as well as heated functionality for the first two rows of seats. A powered sunroof is also available, but the Premium Luxury trim will go on to provide a 9.0-inch, fold-down entertainment system. More advanced safety features are offered by the Premium Luxury, such as Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking and Reverse Automatic Braking.
