What's New for the 2022 Cadillac XT5?

Just minimal changes are in store for the Cadillac XT5 in 2022. This year, the Cadillac gets some minor updates to its standard and available components. 2022 XT5 Trims & Features

The 2022 Cadillac XT5 comes in three trim levels. The lineup starts with the Luxury. Next is the Premium Luxury, after which comes the Sport trim. Many enjoyable and valuable features come with the base trim called the Luxury. The Luxury has LED headlights and 18-inch wheels. It also has a proximity entry system and a push-button ignition. The seats are made of simulated leather, and you'll get two zones of climate control. For technology, the base trim has a Bose sound system and an eight-inch touchscreen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included. The Premium Luxury comes with ambient interior lighting and a wireless smartphone charging pad as its main upgrades. You'll also get a panoramic sunroof and automatic windshield wipers. The Premium Luxury also switches to leather upholstery for the seats. The Sport trim level has enhanced Brembo brakes. It comes with larger 20-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension system. A technology package is available for this trim with an automated parking system, a head-up display, and a 360-degree camera. A sport suspension system is available through the Platinum package. A Bose sound system with 14 speakers is also optional.

2022 Cadillac XT5 Horsepower

The first two trims have the same engine, while a V6 powers the Sport. All trim levels of the XT5 have an automatic transmission that has nine speeds. You will get front-wheel drive with most trims, and all-wheel drive is available. The Cadillac will tow about 3,500 pounds across the lineup.

Cadillac XT5 Safety

Safety in the Cadillac XT5 includes lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, automatic emergency braking, and parking sensors on the front and back ends that alert you if you are about to hit objects behind the car. Blind-spot monitoring is available with the second trim, and you can also get rear cross-traffic monitoring with the top trim levels.
