Cadillac Wins Two EyesOn Design Awards
At the 18th annual EyesOn Design Awards—held alongside the 2025 Detroit Auto Show—Cadillac's Opulent Velocity and SOLLEI stood out among a field of esteemed contenders. These awards celebrate “exceptional design in production and concept vehicles.”
Cadillac's Opulent Velocity pocketed the “Best Concept Vehicle Design” prize, while SOLLEI earned the award for “Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials.” Each concept showcases its own unique flair: the Opulent Velocity features striking butterfly doors and what Cadillac dubs a “multisensory” cabin, and SOLLEI revisits the marque's 1950s palette with a hand-painted “Manila Cream” exterior and a Nappa-leather interior accented by a pink iridescent finish.
The Opulent Velocity leans into futuristic aesthetics for drivers eager to experience tomorrow's style. On the other hand, SOLLEI delivers a harmonious blend of Cadillac's heritage and forward-thinking elements. Both concepts also integrate eco-minded materials in line with Cadillac's sustainability goals. However, the EyesOn Awards focus squarely on design innovation, and this year, the applause was all for Cadillac.
