What Should I Do If There is a Recall for my Vehicle?
Receiving a recall notice for your
vehicle can seem alarming, but there really is no need to panic. As we
said before, most recalls are for relatively minor issues that could
only pose a safety risk in certain situations. As long as you follow the
directions of the manufacturer to fix the issue, you will end up with a
vehicle that will be safer and perform better on the road.
Whether you receive a recall notice
in the mail from your vehicle's manufacturer or you find out about the
recall from us, we will be happy to make the necessary repairs on your
Cadillac. Contact us to make an appointment with our service center.
Do I Have to Pay for Recall Repairs?
You don't need to worry about paying
for any repairs that are related to a vehicle recall. Since the problem
is due to a manufacturing mistake that was uncovered after the vehicle
went on the market, the manufacturers themselves are obligated to pay
for the repairs. You will still need to pay for any repairs that are
outside the scope of the recall, however.
If you receive a recall notice for
your vehicle, don't wait to fix it. It may seem like something minor,
but it could get worse if you don't address it quickly. Contact our service center if you have any questions about your own vehicle or to schedule an appointment.
