Specs at a Glance
The 2021 Cadillac XT4 Luxury and Sport are upscale crossover SUVs with impressive capabilities. From the CUE infotainment to the Bose sound system, these luxurious family cars have a host of advanced technologies.
Performance
Standard on the 2021 Cadillac XT4 Luxury, a 2.0 L turbocharged engine kicks out 237 horsepower. Such an output is only achieved with premium unleaded gasoline at 5,000 RPM. The small turbo powertrain pumps out 258 pound-feet of torque when the tachometer hits at least 1,500 RPM. The peak torque output drops when the I-4 engine revolves faster than 4,000 RPM. An automatic transmission with a nine-speed configuration is another standard mechanical technology on this lavish Cadillac crossover SUV.
You could buy the Luxury and Sport with an all-wheel drive that creates the wheels' appropriate torque splits. Optional on the Sport model, the Active Sport Suspension System reduces vibrations from paved surfaces. Both XT4 models wear heavy-duty brake rotors with the DuraLife label. Additionally, these upscale family cars have the Drive Mode Selector, which includes the Tour, Off-Road, and several other settings.
Appearance
Some dazzling paint options for the 2021 XT4 Luxury and Sport include Twilight Blue, Garnet, Autumn, and Infrared. The Luxury trim rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels with ten spokes and Bright Silver accents. Decorated with the Argent Metallic finish, the Sport's 18-inch alloy wheels have ten spokes. The signature Diamond Cut finish is also applied to these premium wheels. Both Cadillac crossover SUVs could be equipped with optional 20-inch wheels available in Gloss Black or Titan Satin. Black molded splash guards, roof-mounted cross rails, and a surround grille are optional on the Sport edition. Additionally, this model comes with the Sport Grille, which has the Galvano Surround and Black Gloss accents.
Features
An 8-inch monitor with a multi-touch interface is standard inside the 2021 XT4 Luxury and Sport. You can upgrade to an optional GPS navigation system with the Natural Voice Recognition technology. The Cadillac User Experience infotainment system offers wireless smartphone integrations via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You could also pair a mobile phone with Bluetooth and Near Field Communication. The Connected Apps appear on the home menu of the CUE platform. Both Cadillac crossover SUVs offer a 13-speaker audio system with the Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound design. Some other high-tech highlights of the Sport model include a head-up display and wireless charging system for mobile devices.
