2019 Cadillac XT5 Model Review

You can purchase your new XT5 in four different trim levels. They are Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. The first three are available in either front wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the Platinum only comes in AWD. With a Standard or Luxury, you can listen to music with the impressive Bose® 8-Speaker Premium Audio System. Those who go with the Premium Luxury or Platinum get an astounding Bose® 14-speaker Studio Surround Sound System to really make their music come alive. Some of the things that help the Platinum trim live up to its name include a Hands-Free Liftgate, Front and Rear Stainless Steel skid-plates, and a grille and exhaust that are unique to this model. In the interior, you will find a reconfigurable 8" color gauge display, leather-wrapped instrument panel, armrest, and door trim, as well as suede microfiber headliners. Advanced technology features include a rear camera mirror with camera washer and Heads Up Display.

There are a lot of impressive safety features for the 2019 XT5. The Safety Alert Seat vibrates in a pulsing pattern on the driver's side seat to alert you of a potential collision on the right or left side of the vehicle. There is also Forward Collision Alert which can detect an impending collision with a car or pediatrician. This feature can initiate braking if necessary. Vehicle Interior Movement Sensor is designed to alert the driver if any movement can be detected inside the vehicle before opening the doors. This is part of the Advanced Security System that Cadillac offers on the 2019 XT5. The Platinum trim offers the Driver Assist Package complete with Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Park Assist, Forward and Reverse Automatic Braking, and Automatic Safety Belt Tightening.
