Cadillac Performance Features
In 2024, Cadillac made several performance enhancements across its models. The CT5-V, a sports sedan, now features a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers an impressive 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. This engine enables the CT5-V to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 156 miles per hour. Additional performance upgrades include Brembo performance front brakes, a performance steering wheel, and paddle shifters. The CT5-V also comes with a performance traction management system, drive mode selector, and launch control.
The Blackwing, a variant of the CT5-V, also boasts several performance updates. It is equipped with a supercharged V8 engine producing 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The Blackwing offers two transmission options: a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. It features Brembo high-performance brakes on both the front and rear. Thanks to its adaptive suspension system, the Blackwing combines comfort with excitement. Like the CT5-V, it includes launch control, performance traction management, and a drive mode selector.
The CT4 sedan also benefits from performance updates. It now features Brembo V performance front brakes and alloy pedals are included in the upgrade package for 2024.
Cadillac Technology Features
Cadillac's 2024 lineup also introduces new technology features.
The XT4 and LYRIQ models now support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The LYRIQ also comes with a new dual-level charging cord for improved charging times and boasts a larger 33-inch display with a curved LED screen. Standard features on the LYRIQ now include wireless phone charging and a fixed-glass roof, with an available power-operated interior shade for cooling and darkening the cabin. The XT4 is upgraded with a head-up display featuring a full-color screen.
Many 2024 models also include Cadillac's Smart System of safety aids, which offers parking assistance, emergency braking, and various alerts.
