2021 Cadillac Escalade Navigation System

If you own a newer Cadillac vehicle, you're probably familiar with its navigation system and how it provides detailed directions to practically any address or point of interest imaginable. While this system was almost certainly up to date when you first bought your vehicle, roads and points of interest may have changed since then, and your system will need to be updated. Fortunately, Cadillac has made it easy to update their navigation system so you won't have to worry about relying on outdated information when you drive.

Before you update your Cadillac's navigation system, you must first order the latest navigation system update disc from your nearby Cadillac dealer or Cadillac's website. These discs are released periodically, so keep checking to see if there is a new update available if you think your data is outdated.

Once you have your latest update disc, start your engine and turn on the navigation system. Press the "Load" button on the screen when it appears, and insert the disc into the slot with the label facing up. The "Update" button will appear when the disc finishes loading. Press "Update," enter the authentication code that came with your disc, and press "Enter" to begin the update. Keep in mind that it takes about three hours for the update to complete, and your engine has to be running the entire time. Make sure that you have the time and plenty of gas to complete the update.

If you have a Cadillac vehicle with an outdated navigation system and need the latest update disc, contact Crest Cadillac today. Our friendly staff will gladly help you with the update process and answer any other questions you might have.
