The numbers listed in the trim names correspond to each model's standard engine. The CTS 3.0 Luxury receives a 3.0-liter V6 rated at 265 horsepower and 220 pound-feet of torque. You'll receive a moderate boost in power output if you select the Touring package, which includes a dual exhaust that increases output to 270 horsepower and 223 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is paired up with a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. All other trims come equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 that generates an impressive 318 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is also standard and sends power to the rear-wheels. An all-wheel-drive setup is optional.
